Norma Garcia, DO

Dr. Norma García was born in the Rio Grande Valley and has spent most of her life in the area. She attended medical school at University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. In the future, she wishes to practice medicine while serving an underprivileged population.

Anibal Avila, MD

Rank – PGY-2


Dr. Anibal Avila was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and raised in the state of Oklahoma. His passions outside of medicine include going to the gym, baseball, boxing, and playing the piano.

Bianca Ibarra, DO

Rank – PGY-2


Dr. Bianca G. Ibarra is from a little town called Comanche, Texas. She is a Red Raider at heart and attended medical school at the University Of North Texas Health Sciences Center Texas-College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. In her spare time she enjoys exercising, spending time with family and friends, and dancing!

Anita Madison, MD

Rank – PGY-2


Dr. Anita Madison is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana where she attended Xavier University of Louisiana for her undergraduate education. She received medical training  at Tulane School of Medicine. She is excited to be a part of the UTRGV-DHR team where she will develop the skills needed to become a great OB/GYN. She enjoys catching up with family and friends, trying new thing and restaurants, exercising and going to the beach.
